TPCG® Research and Development History
In the early stages of research, our R&D team focused on protein expression and discovered that proteins were difficult to apply in vitro due to the following reasons:
-
Difficult to preserve activity
-
Large molecular weight, resulting in poor skin absorption
As a result, the company’s R&D team referred to international journals and found that various short peptides possess specific functions. However, when incorporated into skincare products, careful attention must be given to skin permeability and appropriate dosage/formulation. This led to the development of:
-
Exclusive Bio-Extraction Technology
-
Modified Short Peptide Model
TPCG® successfully addresses issues related to ingredient skin permeability, absorption, and activity preservation.
TPCG® R&D Features
Active yeast extracts are obtained from yeast using our exclusive biotechnology, which extracts and formulates natural active factors, including specific functional peptides and various active substances. Unlike large-molecule enzymes or proteins, the activity of these extracts is easier to preserve, and the smaller molecular size allows for better absorption by skin cells to deliver specific benefits.
Unlike commercially available peptides, which typically use chemical carriers to penetrate the skin, TPCG® utilizes natural carriers, ensuring more efficient absorption and skin penetration.
